Inkind Thrift Store Donation Policy
Current Need List:
All items, except furniture, must be boxed or bagged to allow them to be stored easily. Unfortunately, no loose or dirty and worn items will be accepted.
When donating, please remember that the cleanliness and quality of your items are crucial. We would like to ask that all donated items be clean, gently used (or new), and in resalable shape. To donate, you may bring or ship us clothing, accessories, and small household items.
If you have oversized items or need help with an estate donation, please call to see if we can accommodate your request.
Acceptable Donation Items List
All items must be clean (no stains or odors), in working order, not chipped or cracked, and in gently used or original new condition to be accepted during drop off. We accept the following items;

Please do not bring us these items. We can not use or sell them. Unfortunately, an employee at the door will refuse any item on the list below, and we will turn them away at the door.
Please Note: We reserve the right to refuse all donations or part of one based on changes in the business environment and/or store policy issues. - Clothing, Accessories, Shoes
- New or gently used men's and women's hats, jewelry, mittens, scarves, ties, purses, wallets, backpacks, bags, shoes
- Working and Clean (Small) Household Appliances.
- Small toasters, radios, power tools, irons, blenders, mixers, lamps, fans, heaters.
- Fitness & Sporting Equipment
- Bicycles, golf clubs, tennis rackets, skates, barbells, and other non-powered exercise equipment.
- Games and Toys
- Youth toys, board games, card games, video games, puzzles, plush toys. They must be complete, clean, and unbroken.
- Clean Kitchen Items
- We accept pots, pans, utensils, dishes, coffee cups, cutlery, glassware, silverware, and stemware.
- Home Décor
- Vases, picture frames, rugs, drapes, artwork, platters, sculptures, knick-knacks.
- Books & Entertainment Media
- Hardback and paperback books, records, tapes, CDs, video games, and DVDs.
- Indoor & outdoor furniture (if heavier than 50 pounds, please call)
- All types, including tables, chairs, cabinets, shelves, and nightstands. We cannot accept any items with torn or stained fabric or leather.
- Clean and Unstained Linens
- Blankets, throw pillows, curtains, and tablecloths.
Unacceptable Donation Items List
Please do not bring us these items. We can not use or sell them. Unfortunately, an employee at the door will refuse any item on the list below, and we will turn them away at the door.
- Any item that is stained has a foul smell or is dirty.
- Any item that is broken.
- Underwear and socks, unless new in packaging.
- Infant products, including clothing, toys, car seats, strollers, and cribs.
- Children's clothing & toys.
- Pillows, sheets and towels.
- Automotive parts.
- Construction and building materials.
- Large Furniture (armoires, bed frames, full-size couches, China cabinets) - text us pictures if you'd like to know if we can accommodate the donation.
- Appliances (Refrigerators, dishwashers, furnaces, stoves, washing machines, etc.)
- Motorized yard equipment, fuel tanks, propane tanks, and tiki torches.
- Hazardous materials, including batteries, paint, and cleaning products.
- Tube televisions.
- Weapons (Firearms, explosives, ammunition)
- Food
- Medical supplies
